This thermoplastic housing is supplied with a fully sealed stainless steel bearing insert fitted in the plastic housing which has pre-fitted anti crush stainless steel inserts in the bolt holes and also includes a grease nipple to facilitate re-lubrication. The bearing insert has 2 grub screws to allow tightening against the shaft once fitted. The inserts (available separately) can be removed from the housings for future replacement as required. Please Note: in the event of one colour being unavailable a different colour will be supplied.

Stainless steel bearings can be used in the food and marine industry, as it does not rust due to its resilience to water and other corrosive environments. This makes it hygienic to use.
