Tensioner Components

Arm Tensioners: The SE tensioning arm is the mostly used standard for tensioning all kinds of chain & belt drives. According to application, the tensioner arm is supplemented with the appropriate idler sprocket for chain drives or idler roller for belt drives. (sold separately). The tensioning element is based on the rubber spring principle, its inserts are a high elastic natural rubber with a good shape memory. They also provide effective absorption of vibrations. The unit is designed for applications in a temperature range from -40°C to +80°C.

Tensioner Idler Sprockets: The tensioner sprocket is suitable for 1" pitch British standard chain drives. The idler sprocket is supplied with a shielded deep groove ball bearing in the centre & a bolt & nuts to fit to the tensioner arm. Our range of idler sprockets to suit standard roller chain pitch sizes from O6B-1 to 24B-1 are available.

Tensioner Rollers: The tensioner roller is suitable for flat, timing and Vee & wedge belt drives. Our range of idler roller pulleys are also available to suit standard V and wedge belt sections from Z/SPZ to C/SPC. Both designs have ZZ bearings fitted to the bore.
